Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Information We Collect

Fernandes Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. When you submit an inquiry through our Contact page, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Country
  • Any artwork/inquiry details and message content

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect payment information through this Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Send you a confirmation that your message was received
  • Communicate with you regarding artwork, commissions, or related requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How Your Information Is Processed

Inquiry submissions are processed and delivered via our email service provider (Hostinger). Your information is retained only as long as necessary to respond to and manage your inquiry.

4. Cookies & Third-Party Services

This Site uses the following third-party services:

  • Google reCAPTCHA — protects our Contact form from spam and abuse.
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g. which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive).
  • Sentry — error monitoring, so we can detect and fix technical problems on the Site. It may capture technical information such as browser type, device information, and error details when something goes wrong.

These services may collect device and interaction data and set their own cookies. Google’s services are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Sentry is operated by Functional Software, Inc., governed by Sentry’s Privacy Policy. We do not use any advertising trackers on this Site.

Google Analytics only runs if you accept it via the cookie consent banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer — if you switch from accepting to rejecting, we also remove the Analytics cookies already set in your browser, rather than just stopping new data collection. reCAPTCHA and Sentry are not gated behind this banner, as they are necessary for the security and reliability of the Site rather than for analytics.

5. Legal Basis for Processing & International Transfers

Where GDPR applies to you (for example, if you are located in the European Economic Area), we process your personal information on the following legal bases: your consent (for analytics), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site (for spam prevention and error monitoring), and the steps necessary to respond to your inquiry when you contact us.

Google, Sentry, and our hosting provider (Hostinger) may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. These providers rely on their own safeguards for international data transfers, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not have a separate data processing agreement with each of these providers beyond their standard terms.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Restrict or object to how we process your information
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, please reach out via our Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as we add or remove third-party services. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.

10. Contact

For any questions about this Privacy Policy, or to exercise your data rights, please reach out via our Contact page.
